Chinese customs increase the controls on air transport in Shandong

The problem of bearings produced and released under other people’s trademarks is fairly well known in China. Because of the difference in price by 20-30%, compared with the genuine product, they find their place easily on the domestic and international markets. These bearings are often produced in small clandestine enterprises with the violation of all technologies; present a danger not only for the brand and the reputation of its owner, but also for those who use them.

Chinese customs ?utina International Airport (province of Shandong, Qingdao) are inctercepting counterfeit bearings

Shandong Province, located on the east coast of China, is one of the centers of transit and export of counterfeit bearings in the country. The largest transport hub in Qingdao, which unites a major seaport, international airport and land transport routes, is used for counterfeit goods. A few years ago the Customs Service increased the control and stopped the supply chain of counterfeit goods on water. Unscrupulous companies were forced to switch to air transport. This switch was made mainly to the Qingdao International Airport.

On March 12, 2012 Customs of Qingdao international airport intercepted 667 kg counterfeit tapered roller bearings. According to statistics, in 2009 alone there were nine cases related to counterfeit bearings with a value of 244 thousand RMB ..

At the present time, Chinese customs officials reinforce its activities on the air ways. Following the colleagues from the sea port of Qingdao, is planned from year to year to reduce the flow of counterfeit bearings through the main air gates of the Shandong province.
